Hoggy is a simple little gravity based platform gane in which you play a purple guy called Hoggy on it’s quest to eat fruit and collect keys, to eat more fruit. You tap the screen to flip gravity and tilt the screen to move Hoggy from left to right. That’s about it for the controls, it’s very very basic. That makes it pretty nice for a quick little gaming session though and the levels are divided up into short puzzles that you should be able to complete in just a few minutes.
It’s the very definition of a casual puzzle game for the iPhone / iPod, but that’s ok, because it’s executed well, it’s easy to pick up and play and the graphics are crisp and easy to look at.
Overall it is a good game, with nice graphics and good gameplay, the interface is a bit bad, but that's okay. I would sure recommend it for anyone who got an iPod / iPhone.Hoggy is a cheerful side-scrolling puzzler inspired by games like Super Mario Bro's and other Nintendo hits.
